EK Preparatory School | Effective Date: June 1, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in EK Preparatory School, a supplemental educational program operated by Emmaus Outreach, a registered non-profit organization. By registering for or participating in any EK Preparatory School program, you (“Parent” or “Guardian”) agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself and your enrolled student.
Please read these Terms carefully before registering. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not register or participate in the program.
1. Program Description
EK Preparatory School provides supplemental, Christian-based educational activities and resources for students in grades 3 through 12. The program is available year-round and is designed to complement — not replace — formal schooling.
EK Preparatory School is NOT:
- An accredited school or licensed educational institution
- A tutoring service or certified academic program
- A substitute for any formal or state-mandated education
- A program that guarantees academic outcomes or grade improvement
Participation in EK Preparatory School does not create any student-teacher, client-professional, or institutional enrollment relationship between the participant and Emmaus Outreach.
2. Eligibility
The program is open to students currently enrolled in grades 3 through 12. By registering, the Parent or Guardian represents and warrants that:
- They are the legal parent or guardian of the enrolled student
- The student meets the grade eligibility requirements
- All information provided during registration is accurate and complete
EK Preparatory School reserves the right to verify the age and current grade level of any enrolled participant prior to awarding earned incentives or granting program access.
3. Registration and Account Responsibility
Parents and Guardians are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their registration information. You agree to:
- Provide truthful, current, and complete information during registration
- Update your information promptly if it changes
- Keep login credentials secure and not share them with others
EK Preparatory School reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any account found to contain false or misleading information.
4. Incentive Program
EK Preparatory School may offer an incentive rewards program to recognize student achievement and course completion. The following terms apply to all incentives:
- Incentives are earned upon completion of prescribed lessons as determined by program staff
- ${PROGRAM_NAME} reserves the right to verify student eligibility before remitting any incentive
- Earned incentives are normally remitted within twenty (20) days of verified lesson completion
- Incentives are subject to change, modification, or discontinuation at any time without prior notice
- Incentives have no cash value and may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged
Any attempt to fraudulently claim incentives — including misrepresentation of grade level, age, or completion status — will result in immediate disqualification and may result in termination of program access.
5. Acceptable Use
By participating in EK Preparatory School, you agree that your student will use program materials and resources only for their intended educational purpose. You agree not to:
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any program content
- Attempt to access accounts or content not assigned to your student
- Submit false information or misrepresent your student’s identity or progress
- Use program resources in any manner that violates applicable law
6. Content and Intellectual Property
All course materials, content, resources, and intellectual property made available through EK Preparatory School are the property of Emmaus Outreach or its content licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use program content solely for personal, non-commercial educational use by your enrolled student.
Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any program content is strictly prohibited.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
All program content, materials, and resources are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Emmaus Outreach and EK Preparatory School make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Guarantees of academic outcomes, grade improvement, or educational progress
- Representations that materials are accurate, complete, or current
- Guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free access to the program
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Emmaus Outreach, EK Preparatory School, and their respective volunteers, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to:
- Participation in or reliance upon the program or its materials
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in program content
- Interruption or unavailability of program access
- Any decisions made by parents or guardians in reliance on program content
Parents and guardians assume full responsibility for their child’s educational decisions and for ensuring that all formal educational requirements are met through appropriate licensed institutions.
9. Modifications to Terms
Emmaus Outreach reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the program website with a revised effective date. Continued participation in the program following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the email address on file where reasonably practicable.
10. Termination
EK Preparatory School reserves the right to suspend or terminate your or your student’s access to the program at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access program materials ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
